This is a varied and hands-on position where you will primarily deliver IT support and service desk assistance, while also taking ownership of incoming sales enquiries, quoting, and supporting new business opportunities.
You'll be the first point of contact for both technical issues and new enquiries, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop into a client-facing, commercially focused IT role., Technical Support & Service Delivery (Primary Focus)
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to clients across a range of technologies
- Manage and resolve service desk tickets in line with SLAs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with the delivery of IT projects and system implementations
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, and cloud services
- Maintain accurate documentation and update internal systems
Sales Enquiries & Quoting
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries (phone, email, website)
- Respond promptly to new enquiries and gather client requirements
- Recommend appropriate IT solutions based on client needs
- Prepare and send quotes for IT services, hardware, and projects
- Follow up on quotes and maintain communication with prospective clients
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to scope and price solutions
Pre-Sales & Client Engagement
- Support client meetings and assist in presenting technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve client systems or introduce additional services
- Contribute to winning new business and building long-term client relationships, * 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm)
- Hybrid working (remote, office, and client site visits)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required (business mileage reimbursed for client visits)
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, DHCP, firewalls)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
Desirable:
- Experience working within an MSP or IT support environment
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Experience in client-facing or pre-sales situations

- Proactive and eager to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills
