Job description

  • Play a key role in ensuring the continued successful delivery.
  • Work closely with procurement staff, system users and the external Managed Service provider to stabilise and to continue to shape the implementation of the new purchasing and procurement functionality and processes and support the organisation through any such changes.

Requirements

  • A degree in Management, Business, Finance or Procurement or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of ORACLE Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Proven experience in a procurement or purchase to pay role with in-depth understanding of purchase to pay systems and processes.
  • Excellent time management skills demonstrating an ability to prioritise tasks and respond to competing demands.
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills; with the ability to scenario plan, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Highly competent IT user with experience of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a procurement role in a Public Sector organisation.
  • Experience of using purchasing software packages such as PECOS, Pro-actis or similar
  • Experience of working in a project environment.

About the company

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a Purchase to Pay Specialist for an initial 6 month contract with option to extend for a further 6 months on a rate of £400-£425/day (Inside IR35). Hybrid working or fully remote will be considered. Occasional limited travel throughout Scotland.
