Access Engineer

• Install, configure, and commission access systems, including automated gates and intercoms
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical security gates, barriers, and entry systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in gate automation, intercoms, and basic network connections
• Service and maintain audio and video intercom systems, including IP-based systems
• Carry out upgrades to gate motors, control panels, and access control equipment
• Ensure all systems meet relevant electrical and safety standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs
• Maintain accurate service records and provide clear reports on completed work
• Work effectively both independently and within a team

Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day

We are seeking a skilled Access Engineer to install, maintain, and repair a range of automated access systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work both independently and as part of a team to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.

Full-Time | Permanent

Day Rate: Starting from £160 per day This is an entry rate within a structured progression scale. Day rates are reviewed quarterly, with potential increases based on performance-progressing from £160 to £180, and up to £200 per day.

Working Pattern:

• 5 days out of 7 on a 24/7 rota (shifts scheduled in advance)
• Regular overtime available
• On-call duties paid in addition to salary (rates agreed mutually and paid monthly)
