As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in the FX Services Technology team within the Macro eTrading group, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering innovative technology solutions. You will collaborate with talented colleagues in an agile environment, ensuring our products are secure, stable, and scalable. Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to address complex challenges
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve operational stability
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials
  • Drive outcomes-oriented probing of applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new technologies

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience building high-performance desktop or web applications
  • Experience with test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Clear understanding of UX methodologies and a passion for interactive design

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in solution design, software testing, and production support
  • Experience in relevant domains, including the financial sector
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
  • Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or Spring
