Job description
·Provide assistance in managing the testing center, including responsibility for faculty communications, testing integrity, coordinating the faculty scheduled exams, tests, quizzes, and make-up exams within the testing center. · Provide customer support to students, faculty, staff and non-students via telephone, email, and walk-ins. · Interact frequently with university faculty, students, staff, and representatives of outside testing agencies., · Greet and check in candidates. · Verify identification and brief candidates on examination rules and procedures. · Collect, organize, disseminate testing information and testing materials to students and proctors, including specific faculty instructions for allowable materials and other requirements. · Follow, enforce test security policies and procedures before, during, and after testing. · Maintain security of all exams and materials by keeping an inventory of materials. · Ensure secure storage and returning all tests and related materials to appropriate instructor and/or department. · Managing student workers, including hiring, training, and creating and maintaining work schedules. · Assist with exam schedules, distance learning testing. · Create and maintain Testing Center procedural documentation. · Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Two years of college and two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a testing center and prior supervisory experience. Preferred Education and Experience Other Qualifications To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position., · Ability to work well with individuals with a variety of backgrounds and ability to work effectively within and across various departments. · Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner as they arise. · Prompt, courteous and professional in dealing with all contact is required. · Ability to take initiative, make decisions and act with the highest degree of integrity. · Ability to access, review, compile and analyze multiple sources of data and information to generate appropriate criteria for reports. · Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). · Strong organizational skills and attention to details. · Work will be performed on-site and in-person. · This position requires some evenings, with some Saturday hours as needed.
