Jr. Applications Specialist (Web/SQL) [Hybrid]

AMS Workplace Technology is looking for applications specialist to assist in Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) software implementations. NOTE: This position is not a traditional development/coding position and involves more customer facing consulting, design, and implementation in a rapid application development environment where SQL is used primarily. Some development work is needed, but this is more of a consulting and design type of position, so communication skills play an important role. The following technical skills are required: Front-End & Back-End Development SQL Server Database experience Web Development (HTML, also ASP/.NET/JavaScript or other programming) Experience in creating Reports Solid Understanding of Relational Databases In addition, the following non-technical skills are required: Working in a team development environment Strong communication skills Creative Good problem-solving skills Additional desired skills include: AutoCAD/Revit experience SQL Service Reporting Services SQL Service Integration Services Visual Basic/C# .NET Experience Web Services Experience in Facilities Management There is a huge opportunity for a self-motivated, eager individual to grow in the company based on their performance.
