Job description

Join Walmart Claims Services' Technology Operations team and help power the future of claims management. This team delivers and supports the technology platforms that manage insurance claims at scale for Walmart, while also leading transformation initiatives focused on process optimization and AI-driven innovation. It's a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of operations, technology, and modernization-driving real impact across WCS.

This team works hand in hand with operational partners across Walmart Claims Services and the broader Walmart organization to streamline and modernize the claims management process. As a critical function within WCS, the team supports the core systems responsible for adjudicating claims-ensuring reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the claims lifecycle.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with operational stakeholders to continuously evolve and enhance existing technology systems.
  • Implement new technology solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the claims lifecycle.
  • Support, maintain, and upgrade existing platforms to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Drive transformational initiatives that modernize and optimize the claims management process.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of insurance claims handling concepts and processes.
  • Experience with claims systems and risk management platforms (RIMS).
  • Preferred experience with Riskonnect and/or ClearSight platforms.
  • Background working within a claims handling environment, such as insurance, retail claims, risk management, or third-party administrator (TPA) organizations.
  • Programming or technical development experience, with the ability to support or enhance technology solutions., Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business,information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years' experience inproject management, program management, program operations, or related area.Option 2: 7 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.2 years' supervisory experience.
