Job description
- Build Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions that automate system monitoring, incident analysis, and remediation
- Develop AI-powered assistants and runbooks that guide engineers during incidents
- Create autonomous workflows that analyze logs, metrics, and events and take corrective actions
- Write clean, production-ready automation code (Python, scripts, APIs)
- Partner with engineers to improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Learn core SRE fundamentals: reliability, monitoring, incident response, and postmortems
Requirements
We're hiring an early-career AI Automation Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-driven automation and reliability platforms. This role is ideal for a recent graduate from a top Computer Science or Computer Engineering program who has very strong hands-on experience with AI and Generative AI through internships, research, labs, or real-world projects., * 2+ years of experience (can include internships, co-ops, research, and strong project work.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
AI & Engineering Skills (Must Have)
- Very strong experience with AI and Generative AI
- LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, agents, or AI automation projects
- Hands-on coding experience in Python (or similar language)
- Experience building or experimenting with:
- AI agents or autonomous workflows
- AI-powered tools, bots, or decision systems

Our Senior System Engineering , earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
