Job description
- Experience with WLST and shell scripting (bash)
- Groovy or Python scripting experience
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), Git, artifact repositories
- Observability tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk/ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, OEM)
- Strong understanding of networking, security (certs, OAuth/JWT, WS-Security), and governance processes
Day-to-Day:
- Provide production support leadership for Oracle integration platforms
- Monitor and maintain platform stability, performance, and security
- Lead incident resolution efforts and conduct root cause analysis
- Support deployments, releases, and environment promotions
- Partner with application teams, architects, DBAs, network, and security teams
- Manage vendor interactions and participate in incident bridges
- Drive continuous improvements and automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with change control and CAB processes, Insight Global is seeking a Production Support Lead - Oracle SOA Suite for a top enterprise client in the payments and technology space. This individual will own the stability and performance of critical Oracle-based integration platforms in a fast-paced, 24×7 production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who thrives in complex ecosystems, excels at troubleshooting high-impact issues, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable integrations supporting mission-critical business operations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of production support experience in enterprise integration platforms
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, Human Workflow, Business Rules, ESS)
- Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
- Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12c)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Deep experience with SOA adapters (JMS, DB, FTP/SFTP, File, REST/SOAP)
- Advanced WebLogic administration (domains, clusters, Node Manager, JMS/JDBC, tuning)
- Proven troubleshooting skills (logs, thread/heap dumps, GC logs, JVM tuning)
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability production systems
- Strong incident management, RCA, and release/deployment support experience
- Excellent communication skills for incident bridges and executive updates
Benefits & conditions
Pay Rate Target: $65-70/hr W2 Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
