Digital Product Owner

• Lead product ownership for investment platform modernization initiatives.
• Drive transformation of legacy systems into scalable, resilient, and compliant digital solutions.
• Act as the single accountable owner for product prioritization, value delivery, and trade-off decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery strategy for digital investment platforms.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value while balancing scope, speed, and risk.
• Lead modernization initiatives aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Provide functional leadership across investment product lifecycles, including onboarding, funding, trading, settlement, reporting, and disclosures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with client experience and regulatory requirements.
• Manage delivery across multiple Agile squads or Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Partner with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and Engineering teams to remove delivery impediments.
• Continuously assess delivery health, risks, dependencies, and execution performance.
• Coordinate with architecture, security, and vendor teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Facilitate decision-making and manage stakeholder expectations across all levels, including senior leadership.
• Support transformation efforts while ensuring business continuity during multi-year programs.

• Strong experience in Product Ownership / Digital Product Ownership (DPO).
• Deep understanding of investment products: Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, Brokerage, Retirement, and Trusts.
• Knowledge of investment lifecycle processes: onboarding, funding, trading, settlement, and reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements including disclosures, audit, and data retention.
• Experience managing backlogs, prioritization, and value articulation.
• Proven experience working in scaled Agile environments managing multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills, including interaction with senior leadership.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of cloud-native platforms and modern application architectures.
• Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, messaging systems).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management constraints.
