Python Developer - Remote / Telecommute

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
• Develop solutions for PDF processing, data extraction, validation, and fuzzy matching.
• Integrate LLMs and implement prompt engineering techniques.
• Design and build applications using Streamlit for data interaction and visualization.

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with PDF data extraction, validation, and processing.
• Knowledge of LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
• Strong problem-solving and algorithm design skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 4 7 years of relevant experience in Python development.
