Job description
- Support development of computer vision measurement systems, including machine learning and AI applications
- Design and implement algorithms for image processing and dimensional measurement analysis
- Develop, test, and refine software to support system functionality and performance
- Assist with system assembly, validation, and troubleshooting
- Apply CNNs and other AI models to improve image recognition and processing
- Support transfer of technology from development to manufacturing
- Train internal teams on developed systems and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in programming and computer vision system development
- Proficiency in C# and Python preferred
- Knowledge of image processing algorithms, machine learning, and AI technologies, including CNNs
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and software architecture concepts
- Experience with data retrieval, analysis, and reporting
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Halcon, OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Knowledge of optical measurement systems, metrology, or manufacturing inspection applications
- Experience integrating AI-based solutions into manufacturing environments
Benefits & conditions
The range for this position is $69,635.00 - $95,749.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
