Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for an exciting opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is ideal for an automation professional with strong expertise in Java, modern testing frameworks, and end-to-end test automation., As an SDET, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Playwright. You will create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts for web applications and APIs. Working closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams, you will ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios. The role also involves integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, identifying and reporting defects, and continuously improving testing efficiency and framework reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Playwright, and automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. Expertise in API testing using tools like REST Assured, along with experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git, is essential. Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and performance testing tools will be considered a strong advantage.
