Job description
The VNDLY & Workday Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting integrations, workflows, and functional enhancements across the VNDLY Vendor Management System (VMS) and the Workday HCM/Extended Modules. This role ensures seamless data flow between VNDLY, Workday, and downstream systems, while supporting contingent workforce processes, HCM operations, compliance workflows, and analytics. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing and maintaining both platforms, strong integration skills, and a deep understanding of workforce lifecycle processes.
. VNDLY Platform Development & Support
- Configure VNDLY modules including CW, SOW, Requisitions, Work Orders, Supplier Management, Compliance, Time/Expense, and Invoicing.
- Set up workflows, approval routing, business rules, notifications, and automation across the VNDLY platform.
- Manage VNDLY Worker lifecycle processes (req * onboarding * assignment updates * offboarding).
- Build and maintain REST API integrations, scheduled data feeds, event-based triggers, and webhook-based automations.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate with VNDLY support on platform enhancements.
- Build dashboards and reports for workforce analytics, supplier KPIs, and audit/compliance.
- Workday Development & Configuration
- Configure Workday modules such as HCM Core, Staffing, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Recruiting, and Contingent Worker modules.
- Create and maintain Workday objects, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, business processes, and Workday Studio integrations.
- Build EIB integrations for mass upload, data corrections, and tenant synchronization activities.
- Handle Workday reporting (Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Dashboards) and data extraction requests.
- Support Workday releases, regression testing, defect management, and business process optimization.
- VNDLY * Workday Integration Ownership
- Design and maintain the end-to-end integration architecture between VNDLY and Workday.
- Manage synchronization of: Job postings & positions Worker onboarding, updates, extensions, and offboarding Supplier data and rate cards Time & expense export Invoices & financial data
- Ensure high data integrity and alignment of worker profiles across systems.
- Support identity, access, and SSO setups (SAML/OAuth).
- Collaborate with Security, HR Ops, Procurement, MSPs, and IT Integration teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with HR, TA, Procurement, Finance, MSP partners, and suppliers to gather requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable platform configurations and technical specifications.
- Provide training, documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer to business teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for both VNDLY and Workday.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MIS or related discipline
Experience: Relevant work experience in both front-end and back-end application design and development based on the following number of years: Associate: Prior experience not required Standard I: Two (2) years Standard II: Three (3) years Senior I: Four (4) years Senior II: Five (5) years
