Solutions Architect, Enterprise FSI

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll provide technical leadership to customers in Switzerland, taking ownership of strategic customer relationships and driving architectural excellence across the region. You'll provide expert recommendations on solution design, migration strategies, security, and best-practice architectures with a focus on modern cloud-native patterns and AI-driven innovation. Your influence will extend beyond customer interactions as a trusted advisor-you'll architect solutions that leverage agentic systems, machine learning operations, and intelligent automation to deliver measurable business outcomes and competitive advantage.

You'll serve as a technical thought leader, mentoring Solutions Architects across the region and elevating the technical capabilities of the broader team. You'll act as an internal advocate, driving continuous improvements to the AWS platform based on customer needs and feedback, particularly in emerging areas like generative AI, agentic workloads, and industry-specific innovation. You'll contribute to the AWS knowledge base by creating and sharing best practices, technical content, new reference architectures, and reusable artifacts that advance the state of cloud adoption in financial services (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts on AI/ML implementations, agentic architecture patterns).

Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in educating and evangelizing about AWS technology and innovation through various channels, helping to expand our reach and influence across Europe Central (e.g., through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences). You'll champion the adoption of transformative technologies including generative AI, agentic AI systems, and modern application architectures that enable financial institutions to innovate at scale.

You are an experienced technology leader who brings strong business acumen and a builder mindset, with the ability to move fast, experiment, and drive innovation in rapidly evolving domains. You excel at translating complex business challenges into cloud-native solutions and have a proven track record of implementing emerging technologies like Generative AI and Agentic AI in enterprise contexts. As a Senior SA, you'll demonstrate deep technical expertise while also providing strategic guidance that shapes the future of financial services across the region. • 7+ years of experience as a developer, application architect, or technical leader at financial services companies (banking, capital markets, or fintech) or consulting
• Hands-on experience implementing generative AI, agentic AI, or machine learning solutions in an enterprise context
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLM integration, and building intelligent autonomous agents
• Experience engaging with both business and IT decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and innovation agendas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German or French, with business-fluent English
• • 10+ years of hands-on experience in specific technology domains (e.g., Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering & Analytics)
• • 7+ years of experience as a developer, application architect, or technical leader at Financial Services companies (Banking, Capital Markets, or FinTech) or Consulting for Financial Services companies
• • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing modern, scalable architectures that drive business transformation at enterprise scale
• • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical initiatives across multiple organizations or regions
• • Experience engaging with both Business and IT decision makers, including C-Level stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and innovation agendas
• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German or French, with business-fluent English, Deep expertise with AWS technologies and cloud-native architectures, including serverless, containers, microservices patterns, and distributed systems
