Job description

We are hiring a Software Engineer - IVR (Genesys) to join our client's contact center technology team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial services organizations in the U.S. You'll help drive the development of scalable, high-performance self-service solutions that enhance customer experience through advanced voice automation technologies., o Design, develop, and enhance IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications using modern engineering practices o Build and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring, and related technologies o Develop and support speech-enabled IVR solutions using Genesys or similar platforms o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions aligned with business objectives o Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure high system availability and performance o Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best development practices o Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives o Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

o 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role o Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring framework o Experience with IVR technologies, preferably Genesys or similar platforms o Knowledge of VXML (Voice XML), JavaScript, or Groovy o Experience working with speech-enabled applications o Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or OpenShift is a plus o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment o Excellent communication and collaboration skills
