Camera Support Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Hardware Systems & Imaging Technician to handle the setup, installation, and improvement of high-performance computers and industrial camera systems. This role combines IT hardware work with machine vision, ensuring systems are properly installed and run smoothly for accurate imaging., Desktop Setup & Upgrades:

• Order and set up high-performance workstations
• Install and test GPUs for imaging tasks
• Install Ethernet cards (NICs) for camera connectivity

Imaging System Setup:

• Configure workstations for machine vision and install camera drivers
• Check and test cameras, lenses, and cables to ensure everything works properly

Camera Installation & Calibration:

• Mount cameras based on engineering plans
• Adjust focus, field of view (FoV), and exposure
• Install and manage all camera-related cables

Facilities Support:

• Install mounts and supports for cameras within the facility

• Experience assembling IT hardware (GPUs, PCIe cards)
• Experience with machine vision cameras and cabling
• Ability to use hand tools for installation and cable management
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in optics, physics, or imaging
• Experience in a lab or production environment
