BigFix Patching Specialist

Perform Patch management tasks to include: maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures. * Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format. * Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact. * Communicate the risk of security vulnerabilities to internal stakeholders. * Leverage technology and scripted processes to reduce human interaction in managed processes.

2+ years of experience using BigFix for patching * Experience in patching Linux and Windows servers * Experience in identifying gaps and risks on systems and making recommendation on remediating solutions * Experience in generating and compiling vulnerability and threat reporting metrics * Knowledge of Vulnerability Management * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Strong social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present analytical data to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
