Job description
- Receive and log carrier responses, maintaining a real-time, structured audit trail of disputes and resolutions.
- Validate carrier-provided evidence using client GIS tools and permit documentation to confirm the existence and validity of permits.
- Process audit data, reconcile carrier records with the master audit dataset, and apply approved adjustment rules prior to billing.
- Extract invoice details, create drafts, and issue carrier notifications with supporting documentation, reprocessing as needed after dispute adjustments.
- Execute billing adjustments and generate final invoices in SAP, adhering to established governance checkpoints and approval workflows.
- Maintain master tracking spreadsheets, monitor payment status, and support month-end and engagement-level reporting.
- Follow documented processes, contribute to training materials for dispute handling, and ensure auditability across all actions.
Requirements
Experience: Experience in the utilities domain (Joint Use, Pole Attachments, Telecommunications, or related asset invoicing) with familiarity in audit and dispute cycles is required. Candidates must have experience with customer communications and dispute resolution. Collaboration with an Engagement Manager and client stakeholders is expected.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with GIS for permit and asset verification would be preferred, but willing to train. SAP billing and invoicing experience, including performing adjustments and posting final invoices, is required. Advanced data processing skills in Excel are required; experience with reconciliations or macros is helpful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in pole attachment or audit data processing, joint use billing, or carrier reconciliation projects.
- Background working within a managed services or PMO-driven delivery model.
- Exposure to data quality initiatives and standardized adjustment rules in regulated environments.
- General utilities industry knowledge.

- GIS platform(s) provided by the client for permit lookups and location validation.
- SAP for invoicing, adjustments, and closeout activities.
- Excel or Google Sheets for master tracking, reconciliations, and status reporting.
Benefits & conditions
The pay rate for this position is between $32.00 and $35.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
