Job description
- Conduct end?to?end data capture sessions, including annotation, processing, and QA
- Assemble, configure, debug, and verify multi?camera capture systems, including RGB cameras, depth sensors, and IMUs
- Maintain and support capture lab environments and infrastructure
- Perform system testing for accuracy, synchronization, and performance
- Identify root causes of errors and isolate faulty components
- Monitor system output, stability, and throughput
- Collaborate with Engineering, Research, Product Design, and external vendors
- Support milestones, timelines, and deliverables
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Linux & Windows (command line required)
- Experience in a production capture or lab?based environment
- Hands?on experience with multi?camera systems, depth sensors, and IMUs
- Strong hardware/software debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with joint hardware/software system integration
- Ability to communicate with technical and non?technical stakeholders

- 5+ years working with capture systems
- Python, Bash/Zsh scripting
- Distributed systems and/or cloud exposure
- Camera synchronization (timecode, genlock, real?time systems)
- Fault / failure mode analysis
- Open?source tooling
- Rapid prototyping or 3D printing

This role partners closely with research scientists, hardware engineers, software engineers, and external vendors to design, operate, and scale complex multi?sensor capture environments.
