Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing and validating cutting-edge compute products for cloud platforms. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical part in building and connecting cloud-based tools and utilities, contributing to large-scale validation initiatives, and managing security-related integrations. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, and systems engineering, collaborating across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions that support next-generation computing platforms., * Build and connect cloud-hosted tools and utilities to support engineering validation initiatives across multiple teams

• Review, triage, and manage work items including KPI and security-related items using cloud-based DevOps platforms
• Create, query, and report on work items to track progress and support project delivery
• Contribute to security-related work items and integrations tied to cloud-based solutions
• Modify existing databases and database management systems as needed
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for database management systems
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate development efforts and determine project scope and limitations
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost required to accomplish objectives

• 5 or more years of experience creating and connecting cloud resources to deliver solutions for engineering teams
• 3 or more years of experience with DevOps work item management, including creating, triaging, querying, and reporting
• 1 or more years of experience with cloud security certifications and related practices
• 5 to 7 years of overall software engineering experience required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Azure Security Certification, fully completed and valid at time of submission, is required and non-negotiable for eligibility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through development, testing, and delivery
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes to resolve problems
• Proficiency in Python development
• Experience creating and connecting cloud resources to deliver engineering solutions
• Experience managing DevOps work items, including creating, triaging, querying, and reporting
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and integrations
