Job description

We are seeking a Database Administrator to own the performance, availability, and security of IBM DB2 (Linux), Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server environments. This role supports mission-critical asset management platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, partnering closely with infrastructure and application teams to deliver resilient, high-performing database operations supporting enterprise-scale workloads with defined high availability and disaster recovery objectives., * Install, configure, upgrade, patch, backup, and restore DB2 LUW, Oracle, and SQL Server databases

  • Monitor performance, tune queries, and resolve bottlenecks using native and third-party tools

  • Implement, maintain, and regularly test high availability and disaster recovery solutions (HADR, Data Guard, Always On), ensuring alignment with defined RPO/RTO objectives

  • Manage database security, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements

  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and SQL scripting (T-SQL, PL/SQL)

  • Collaborate with developers on query optimization, schema design, and data migrations

  • Manage and support databases across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments, ensuring consistency, performance, and reliability

  • Support large-scale, high-availability database environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and uptime

  • Participate in a rotating 24×7 on-call schedule supporting mission-critical systems

  • Conduct Maximo installations and upgrades

Configure Maximo modules including Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, and Procurement. Design and implement workflows, roles, and automation scripts. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration with third-party systems (e.g., SAP, GIS, IoT). Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities. Provide ongoing support and enhancements post-implementation. We are seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Deployment Consultant to support the deployment, configuration, and management of the Maximo Application Suite on the Red Hat OpenShift platform. The consultant will work closely with the infrastructure and application teams to ensure the seamless integration of Maximo on OpenShift, optimizing scalability, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, containerization, Kubernetes, and Maximo to drive successful application deployment and ongoing support., * Lead the deployment and configuration of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) on Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring an efficient and secure deployment process over the entire lifecycle of a project

  • Work with the Maximo and IT teams to design and implement scalable and highperformance application architectures on OpenShift

  • Develop and maintain containerized environments for Maximo, utilizing OpenShift/Kubernetes for orchestration, monitoring, and scaling

  • Monitor the performance of the Maximo application suite on OpenShift, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing resource allocation

  • Ensure that security best practices are followed for the deployment of Maximo on OpenShift, including vulnerability scanning, access control, and compliance with industry standards

  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support for OpenShift-related issues, working collaboratively with the IT team to resolve production incidents

  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure Maximo applications meet operational and business needs

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues, Interloc seeks a Project Manager to support varied North American Maximo and Mobile projects. This role will be the primary point of reference and contact for clients and responsible for overall delivery and the first escalation point for any issues. This role is currently predominately remote but must be open to high levels of business travel as required, dependent on client and project needs. United States citizenship is required., * Provide oversight and coordination, create a collaborative team environment

  • Manage the scope and deliverables of the project(s) within the time and budgetary constraints of the established contract

  • Manage the proposal timeline and resource plan within each project, and coordinate schedule and workload balance related to resources across multiple projects

  • Ensure that specific requirements gathered by Business Analysts as part of the project can be executed within the initial contract scope

  • Ensure that quality is built into processes and deliverables

  • Initiate change requests and manage them through the change process

  • Track actual versus forecasted costs on a weekly basis, and complete other project reports as required

  • Document and escalate any risks to the successful delivery of the project

  • Navigate RFPs, procurement processes and legal review

Deal Strategy & Collaboration

  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and deal discipline
  • Transition won business cleanly to delivery while maintaining executive relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience with DB2 (Linux), Oracle, and SQL Server
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting experience
  • Proven experience with backup and recovery (e.g., RMAN, DB2, SQL Server)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • US or Canadian citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud database platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience supporting IBM Maximo or other asset management systems
  • Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance frameworks, * Strong Maximo technical knowledge required to help execute numerous subprojects
  • Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in a technical position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system
