Computer Repair Technician

NOV is looking for a motivated technician to test, troubleshoot and repair all electronic and electro-mechanical rig surface equipment. Perform maintenance requirements on equipment set up and maintain all required repair records.

Responsibilities

*Test equipment for the purpose of fault detection, identify failure criteria and discrepancies with all equipment.

*Troubleshoot electronic devices and circuits to component level.

*Reliably repair all equipment to spec. Read and understand engineering documentation.

*Work with and understand circuit flow.

*Must have strong understanding of computer processes, diagnostics, work with BIOS, installing programs.

*Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

*Able to log, track and coordinate electronic data.

*Able to use electronic test equipment.

*Strong mechanical understanding

*Able to assemble and disassemble all types of equipment.

*Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

*Able to clean and paint equipment to include pressure washing, hand scrubbing and use of spray paint

*Motivated, self-driven to accomplish goals

Job Requirements

*Associate's Degree in Electronics /or technical degree with 3 years of working experience

*Proven background in Electronic Repair

*Self Starter that hits the ground running
