Web & AI Developer - Work from Home

This contract role is designed for a technically proficient Developer to support website maintenance, React-based application development, and the integration of AI-driven workflows. You will focus on executing routine site enhancements and assisting in the deployment of modern web projects while leveraging AI tools to optimize development speed., We are seeking a proactive Web Developer to provide essential technical support across our digital portfolio. This position bridges traditional WordPress maintenance with modern React development and AI-assisted engineering. This is a contract role offering $30/hour with a flexible schedule of 10 to 30 hours per week.

Core ResponsibilitiesWebsite Maintenance & Support

• Routine Enhancements: Execute requested website updates, content additions, and widget customizations for diverse client accounts.
• Performance Optimization: Assist in server-side updates (e.g., PHP versions and caching) and remove extraneous themes or plugins to ensure peak site performance.
• Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Support the administration of web hosting, including domain aliases, DNS linking, and SSL certificate installation in development and staging environments.

React Development & Project Launching

• Application UI Support: Assist in building user interfaces for internal React-based projects according to provided design specifications.
• Deployment Assistance: Support the technical team in launching and managing web and mobile projects.
• UI/UX Fidelity: Translate design requirements into high-functioning interfaces, focusing on layout accuracy and visual consistency.

AI-Assisted Development

• AI Agent Integration: Utilize AI agents and Large Language Model (LLM) tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude) to accelerate code generation, debugging, and routine development tasks.
• Prompt Engineering: Apply effective prompting techniques within AI Studio or similar environments to streamline development workflows and enhance output quality.

Data & API Integration

• Connectivity Support: Assist in linking web forms to CRMs and marketing automation systems using third-party integration tools.
• Tracking Validation: Support the setup and validation of event tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4 to accurately measure user actions.

• Development: Foundational proficiency in React JS, HTML5, CSS3, and PHP for WordPress maintenance.
• AI Tools: Familiarity with using AI agents or LLMs to assist in writing, debugging, and optimizing code.
• Platforms: Experience with WordPress administration, theme modifications, and plugin management.
• Infrastructure: Basic understanding of DNS management, SSL installation, and server-side performance.

Analytics: Exposure to Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager for event tracking.
