Job description
- The Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, validation, and analysis of systems with a focus on thermal performance and mechanical understanding.
- The role includes performing lab-based testing, thermal modeling, simulation, and data analysis to evaluate system behavior.
- The engineer will work with instrumentation and measurement systems to collect and analyze performance data.
- The position requires hands-on involvement in assembling and disassembling test setups and components for evaluation and testing purposes., * Perform testing, validation, and analysis of systems with thermal and mechanical focus.
- Conduct lab-based experiments and collect performance data.
- Analyze and interpret test data using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Perform thermal modeling and simulation activities.
- Use instrumentation and measurement systems to evaluate system performance.
- Assemble and disassemble components and test setups for evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Strong background in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.
- Experience with instrumentation, data collection, and post-processing tools such as LabVIEW or similar data acquisition systems.
- Experience with temperature, pressure, velocity, and flow rate measurements.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermocouples, airflow chambers, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Ability to perform assembly and disassembly of products or test boards for evaluation and analysis.
Experience:
- Bachelor s degree with 0-2 years of experience or Master s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in functional verification of microprocessor designs.
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and programming languages such as Perl and C/C++.
- Experience with logic simulation techniques.
- Preferred experience with research or engineering work following graduate studies.
- Experience with thermal modeling and CAD tools., * Understanding of computer architecture.
- Experience with assertion-based design strategies, code coverage, and functional coverage.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Qualification And Education:
