Job description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java technologies
Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
Write optimized and efficient SQL queries and manage data in Oracle databases
Implement unit testing using JUnit and support integration testing
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Collaborate with frontend teams (Angular) for seamless API integration
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a zero-defect mindset
Mentor junior developers and guide them toward high-quality deliverables
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver features efficiently

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Java Developer to design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Oracle databases, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role focuses on backend services, system integration, and delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions., * Strong experience in Java 8 and Spring Boot

Hands-on experience in REST API development
Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database
Experience with JUnit and testing frameworks
Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, * Experience with Apache Kafka or JMS
Basic knowledge of Linux environments
Exposure to GIS technologies
Experience with Tableau or data analytics tools
Experience in integration testing
Understanding of Angular (for API integration)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, * Expertise in at least two of the following: Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular
Strong Oracle database skills (performance tuning, query optimization)
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, defect-free production code
Experience in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
Ability to handle complex backend systems and integrations
