Staff DevOps/Platform Engineer

They're looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to help scale and evolve their cloud platform and developer infrastructure. What You'll Do

• Lead the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) to support rapid growth
• Build and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) environments and scalable deployment patterns (Helm)
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to enable reliable, self-service deployments
• Drive observability initiatives using tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana
• Strengthen security and compliance practices through automation (SOC 2, monitoring, access controls)
• Build internal tooling to improve developer experience and platform reliability
• Support containerized development workflows across local and cloud environments
• Design infrastructure for machine learning workloads, including training and deployment systems
• Partner with data teams to scale data infrastructure (Databricks, Kafka, streaming systems)
• Contribute to highly available, production-grade systems supporting real-world operations
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure system reliability

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• Strong background in AWS and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Experience building and operating high-availability production systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Familiarity with observability frameworks/tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-region AWS infrastructure at scale
• Exposure to Kafka, Databricks, or modern data platforms
• Experience improving security and compliance through automation
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js

• $204K - $233K base salary + bonus + comprehensive benefits
