Job Description: Senior-level mainframe infrastructure and systems software lead overseeing multiple z/OS environments. Drive automation, modernization, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring teams and delivering complex projects on schedule. Strong hands-on experience with core mainframe technologies and security tooling., * Lead mainframe infrastructure and system software initiatives across multiple z/OS environments
- Manage and optimize JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS workloads
- Oversee security tooling and access controls (RACF / ACF2 / TSS)
- Drive automation, modernization, and process improvements
- Collaborate with infrastructure, production, and application teams; mentor and guide technical staff
- Lead complex projects with timely delivery and quality outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6 10 years in infrastructure/systems engineering with strong mainframe experience
- Hands-on proficiency with z/OS, JCL, IPL, ISPF/TSO; SMP/E and UNIX System Services (preferred)
- Experience leading teams and managing projects; strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with IBM OS and third-party ISV tools; ITIL/ITSM concepts (Change & Release Management)
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills:
- Experience with RACF/ACF2/TSS and related security controls
- Knowledge of DB2, IMS, CICS, and related mainframe subsystems
- Exposure to enterprise environments and large-scale deployments
