Job description

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office., Architect and build modern, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and emerging frontend technologies

  • Convert design concepts into interactive, high-quality user interfaces
  • Drive frontend architecture and state management decisions
  • Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews
  • Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Optimize applications for performance, stability, and scalability

Requirements

5 + years of professional frontend development experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Deep knowledge of the React ecosystem (hooks, context, modern component patterns)
  • Experience designing and scaling state management solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Jest and React Testing Library
  • Proficiency in Git, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for polished UI/UX
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to networking concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Knowledge of modern CSS approaches (CSS-in-JS, preprocessors)
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)

  • United States of America: Annual Salary USD 120,500 - 228,500 in Massachusetts The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered."
