Job description

A top Fortune 50 financial institution in Pensacola, Florida is currently seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to support large-scale Agile delivery initiatives across enterprise technology teams. This role will be responsible for driving Agile Release Train execution, facilitating SAFe ceremonies, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams to deliver business value effectively., The Release Train Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating all Agile Release Train events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and PO Sync
  • Managing program-level risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and escalations through RAID/ROAM tracking
  • Driving alignment between planned work and business value streams while ensuring teams meet PI Objectives
  • Supporting and coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams to embrace Lean/Agile principles and continuous improvement
  • Developing release communication plans, reporting metrics, dashboards, and stakeholder updates across leadership and delivery teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • SAFe RTE, Leading SAFe, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification required
  • Strong experience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools
  • Experience creating release plans, roadmaps, reporting dashboards, and value stream metrics
  • Proven experience leading Agile transformations as an RTE, Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Project Manager
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills across cross-functional enterprise teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Advanced verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience leading Agile teams within large enterprise financial services organizations
  • PMP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or other advanced Agile certifications
  • Experience supporting organizations undergoing enterprise-wide Agile transformation
  • Advanced knowledge of large-scale program delivery and dependency management
  • Strong ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
