As the IT Manager/Solutions Architect - Corporate Systems, you will have the opportunity to build and support innovative, integrated, scalable and balanced system solutions aligned with our Business and IT strategies. Using design & critical thinking, deep business knowledge, situational awareness and multi-disciplinary experience, this position will deliver insight, trusted advice and the technical support and leadership needed to make efficient use of technology and information assets. As part of the Corporate Systems team this position supports systems and processes in the areas of Finance, Sales Audit and Human Resources. The Solutions Architect- Corporate Systems typically works on multiple projects that require elevated skills in multiple technical environments, while leading related production support teams., * Design, architect and support applications within the Corporate Systems domain including Financial, Human Resources, and Sales Audit systems as well as related processes, enhancements, system upgrades, and projects.
- Ownership of complete software lifecycle delivery including software and system architecture, technical design and development, documentation, testing and data migration solutions and deployments of business applications in your domain.
- Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
- Acts as a strategic thought partner, propose alternatives/solutions in alignment with requirements/objectives/timelines and address issues facing the business.
- Acts as a liaison between the business and IT technical and development teams to assist in documenting and converting business requirements into technology requirements.
- Provides functional/technical application support for troubleshooting and resolving issues where required.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and directions to team members.
- Manage internal or 3rd party vendor technical resources in support of project or operational goals for your domain.
- Independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution. Monitor applications in your domain and proactively identify performance or operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related discipline required., * 5-8+ years of experience in designing and implementing technology solutions.
- Experience in designing master data integrations and data migrations.
- Experience on system cutover and deployments
- Experience on various types of integration tools and integration methods
- Experience on implementing and integrating cloud and on-prem applications
- Experience leading production support teams
- Detail oriented and ability to communicate to different levels in organization
- Ability to provide technical guidance in your domain including architecture decision, technical design and service introduction
- Experience in leading production support teams including 3rd party vendors
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to stay self-motivated and run on your own
- Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team, including offshore, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of managed service provider oversight
