Job description
Junior developer with expertise in delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with the product backlog for the CT Consumer Privacy System, ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create and enhance robust and scalable web applications to handle privacy requests
- Design and establish server-side logic and UI components to meet functional requirements
- Document technical specifications, APIs, and database designs
- Participate in code reviews
- Set up CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
- Software development experience with programming skills in Python
- Experience in front-end development
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement responsive, user-centric interfaces utilizing modern frontend technologies and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Craco
- Ability to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into clean, maintainable, and accessible code, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Experience participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain optimal application performance and ensure consistent cross-browser compatibility
- Proficiency in cloud platform configuration and customization (AWS), including tools such as Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, and Route 53
- Experience with REST API development and knowledge of software design patterns, best practices, and coding standards
- Experience with version control practices, including branching, merging, and code review processes
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of security principles and compliance requirements
