Job description
- Own the full lifecycle of a major platform domain, ensuring high-quality, tested, and documented code delivery
- Design and implement serverless workflows and event-driven architectures to support asynchronous AI agent tasks
- Serve as the technical lead for a small squad of engineers, breaking down complex epics into executable tasks and ensuring sprint goals are met
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting for your domain, focusing on AI-specific metrics like model quality and relevance
- Collaborate with application engineers to understand their pain points and iterate on platform features to improve the "Developer Experience"
Requirements
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems, * Proficiency in Python and experience building APIs
- Hands-on experience with Vector Databases and semantic search technologies
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and AWS cloud services
- Commitment to "Docs as Code" and maintaining high-quality developer documentation
- Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Amazon Q) to accelerate development
- Strong ability to mentor Senior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on "winning" together as a team
