Job description
Marathon TS is looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to support our efforts at NIH.
Functional Responsibilities: support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies and contribute to the development of scalable and reliable cloud solutions., * Assisting in the implementation of cloud architectures and services.
- Supporting the deployment and configuration of cloud resources.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Participating in the automation of cloud deployment and management tasks.
- Learning and applying best practices for cloud security and compliance.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cloud computing principles and services.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Licenses/Certifications:
- AWS or Azure certification (or comparable).
