Job description

  • Join a dynamic team as an Information Security/Privacy Analyst III supporting critical government infrastructure. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive security assessments of various applications and cloud environments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies aligned with NIST RMF and ISO standards.
  • You will manage multiple complex projects, support compliance documentation, and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Assessment & Authorization processes.
  • Your expertise will ensure the organization's IT systems meet rigorous security and privacy standards while supporting enterprise architecture and security blueprints.
  • Responsibilities include utilizing vulnerability scanning tools, implementing security controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain secure, compliant, and enterprise-ready systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in information security, risk assessments, or related fields
  • Degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (4 additional years of experience accepted if not in applicable field)
  • Proficiency with NIST RMF, ISO standards, and GRC tools for Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
  • Strong knowledge of security architectures, vulnerability scanning, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of briefing executives and collaborating with diverse teams
