Job description
NASA's Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) is seeking a contractor to join its software developers to create and maintain custom developed solutions. This role will specifically be supporting ICAM's IdMAX (Identity Management and Access Exchange), NAMS (NASA Access Management), custom container applications, and integrations. These solutions predominantly utilize Spring Boot and JAVA.
The developer will be responsible for understanding functional and technical system requirements, designing and implementing applications, handling deployments, and working closely with the operational support team on testing, troubleshooting, and providing Tier 3 operational support as needed for delivered solutions.
The developer will be working under the general supervision of the development lead, an experienced mentor, and working in an agile team environment.
Requirements
BS/BA Degree in Computer Science is preferred but other IT-related degrees will be considered as well., Junior to Mid - Less than 4 years of related work experience, * Proficiency in Javascript, including server-side and client-side scripting
- Experience working in ITIL/Agile environment
- Experience with technical documentation, story refinement, and tracking coded changes
- Strong Problem-Solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in an Agile development and able to operate independently
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years ServiceNow experience
- ServiceNow certification: Certified System Administrator(CSA), Certified Application Developer
- Proficiency in ServiceNow Glide API's and infrastructure
- Experience building scoped applications, creating design documents for data models and process flows, service portals, and general user experience
- Experience building custom workflows in Flow Designer for approvals and business process automation
- Strong grasp of ServiceNow's ITSM, SPM, and CMDB processes
