Job description
Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and enhance DevOps practices across Azure environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure using IaC, and ensuring secure, scalable application deployments. You will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to improve delivery efficiency and system reliability., * Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or ARM templates
- Manage Azure DevOps components: repositories, branching strategies, build agents, releases, and artifacts
- Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment gates into pipelines
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and policy-as-code
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Enable CI/CD for containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues; create documentation and runbooks
- Improve release strategies (blue-green, canary, rollback)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline delivery processes
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (YAML)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or ARM templates)
- Proficiency in Git-based version control and branching strategies
- Scripting experience in PowerShell and/ or Bash (Python is a plus)
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and containerization (Docker)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security tools
- Experience integrating tools like SonarQube, dependency scanning
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments
