Job description
We are seeking a Tier II IT Technician with strong experience in workstation support and a solid comfort level with networks, servers, and MSP environments. This role blends remote support, onsite troubleshooting, and hands-on implementation work. You'll handle escalations from Tier I, perform deeper diagnostics, and assist with configuring and maintaining client infrastructure., * Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues (remote and onsite).
- Support and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file/permission structures.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPNs.
- Deploy, image, and configure workstations, laptops, and related hardware.
- Assist with server builds, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
- Document work clearly in the PSA system and follow internal processes.
- Participate in client onboarding, network assessments, and environment documentation.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to Tier I technicians.
- Assist with staging, prepping, and organizing equipment as needed for project rollouts.

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES strong understanding of NETWORKING and SERVERS
- 2+ years of IT support experience, MSP experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls, DHCP, DNS).
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Solid troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism with clients.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ required. Additional industry certifications-Server+, Microsoft 365, Azure, or equivalent-are strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to client sites.
- Bilingual is a plus.
