Software Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain custom applications end-to-end across multiple brands - from requirements gathering through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Develop and extend data pipelines and API integrations across Yardi, Entrata, QuickBooks Online, Business Central, Facebook/Google/TikTok Ads, and internal systems.
• Contribute to the Investor Portal rollout, including legal document automation, investor KYC and Plaid bank verification, statement generation, and admin tooling.
• Build and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards that support financial reporting, KPI tracking, membership forecasting, EBITDA modeling, and operational decision-making.
• Architect and deploy Azure-based solutions using modern web frameworks, serverless services, and data lake architecture.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders across brands to identify opportunities and turn them into shipped software.
• Own production systems, respond to issues, and continuously improve reliability and performance.

The contractor will flex between committed brand support and strategic initiatives. Candidate projects include:

• Investor Portal expansion: Full Investor Portal rollout - legal document automation, investor KYC/Plaid verification, and marketing material generation supporting $8.5M+ in investor contributions and 66+ active investments.
• Enterprise Support & Ticket Portal: Brand-aware SSO and a virtual assistant to replace fragmented email-based support across the enterprise.
• Treasury Management: Cash optimization and forecasting tooling.
• Ops Nudging v2: Converting prescribed actions into automated loops including MT texting and client rescheduling.
• TAM Residential: Systems review and potential Entrata replacement evaluation.
• 710 Labs: Operations modernization and true Business Central-based production costing.
• Brand Website Portals: Employee, investor, and vendor portals to replace SharePoint.
• *Hawks Kids: Vehicle safety tracking and route optimization.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain end-to-end applications and data integrations across multiple business units. This role focuses on developing scalable Azure-based solutions, APIs, and data pipelines while supporting reporting and analytics through Power BI.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong full-stack expertise who can own projects from concept to deployment and optimization. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver impactful software, improve system performance, and drive innovation across the organization., * 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.

• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem - Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 / Business Central.
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and REST API integrations with third-party platforms.
• Proficiency with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent) and backend development in C#, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and working with data lakes or warehouse architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end - requirements, design, implementation, deployment, and support.
• Self-starter mindset with the judgment to prioritize across competing demands from multiple business units.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Hands-on experience with Yardi, Entrata, or other property management platforms.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, and enterprise reporting at scale.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integration patterns (document matching, virtual assistants, intelligent automation).
• Experience building investor-facing, finance-facing, or compliance-sensitive applications with row-level security.
• Background working across multiple business domains - property management, franchise operations, cannabis/CPG, or childcare services a plus.
• Experience with SSO, identity providers (Entra ID), and enterprise authentication., This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
