Range Engineer

Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a Range Engineer opportunity in the Augusta, GA area. An active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Clearance is required for this position. This opportunity is pending award in July.

Capabilities:

Ensure proper function, assessment, and analysis of the training environment Maintain current training network to perform its mission Update training network hosts, servers, and services as needed to students to complete training objectives Implement new technologies, tools, or procedures in support of content updates Conduct backups of the training network Assist Cyber Training and Education Department in the development of any additional training networks within PCTE

Bachelor's degree or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems requirement may be substituted with a minimum of four (4) additional years of progressive, hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise-scale virtualized and cloud infrastructure Two (2) or more years of experience with infrastructure as code or VMware One (1) or more years of experience with Bash, PowerShell, Batch, or Python scripting languages One (1) or more years of experience with networking and virtualization Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or STEP Experience with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational tools Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, application behaviors, and network traffic analysis Experience operating in an agile development environment Experience with Kubernetes or Docker container technologies Knowledge of penetration testing or red team operations
