Define and own the company's multi-year technology strategy, architecture roadmap, and innovation agenda in alignment with corporate and product objectives.

Serve as the primary technology voice at the executive leadership team and board level, providing technology perspective on strategic decisions, investments, and M&A activities.

Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, to drive product competitiveness and operational scalability. Engineering & Product Delivery Leadership

Lead, grow, and inspire the entire technology organization including software engineering, DevOps, QA, data engineering, and IT functions.

Partner with the Chief Product Officer to ensure seamless technology and product alignment; drive engineering delivery excellence at scale.

Establish engineering standards, architectural governance, security frameworks, and quality benchmarks across all technology disciplines. Platform, Security & Compliance

Oversee the design, evolution, and reliability of the company's SaaS platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of availability, scalability, and security.

Ensure the technology organization maintains compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements including HIPAA, SOC 2, and applicable CMS standards.

Own cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and data protection frameworks across all systems and infrastructure. Organizational Development & Culture

Recruit, mentor, and develop world-class engineering talent; build a culture of accountability, innovation, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.

Represent Beacon's technology capabilities externally with customers, partners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred.

Minimum 15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years at the VP or CTO level in a SaaS or technology company.

Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations in high-growth, productled SaaS environments.

Deep technical expertise in cloud-native software architecture, modern SaaS platform design, and enterprise-grade security and compliance.

Experience leading technology organizations serving domestic health insurance organizations (Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial health plans) is strongly preferred; broader healthcare, healthtech, or highly regulated industry experience is also considered.

Demonstrated success delivering HIPAA-compliant, SOC 2-certified software platforms at scale.

Experience presenting technology strategy to boards of directors.

Track record of leveraging AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics to drive product innovation and business outcomes.

Benefits & conditions
Compensation: $250,000 - $350,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and executive benefits
