Job description

  • Design, implement, and support Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
  • Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Load Balancers, and firewalls
  • Deploy and manage virtual machines, availability sets, and scaling solutions within an IaaS environment
  • Optimize compute resources across Azure Virtual Machines and Kubernetes environments (AKS)
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances
  • Manage storage solutions including Blob Storage, File Storage, and backup/recovery processes
  • Monitor system performance and health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security tools
  • Automate infrastructure deployments using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI
  • Partner with DevOps and security teams to enhance system reliability and enforce best practices
  • Support and troubleshoot production cloud environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Azure experience in a production environment
  • Strong expertise in Azure networking, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure design
  • Experience with IaaS, compute, containers (AKS/Docker), and Azure storage solutions
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud security best practices
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305 preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premise systems
  • Familiarity with zero trust security frameworks and tools such as Zscaler
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
