Javascript/Angular Developer (AWS, Python/Terraform)

• Develop and maintain high-quality, fully tested solutions using Angular, Python, or Terraform with AWS infrastructure
• Work independently on complex projects while collaborating effectively with team members
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Implement and promote cybersecurity and coding standards and best practices
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies
• Debug issues across distributed systems
• Create proofs of concept to demonstrate technical feasibility and innovation
• Recognize system flaws and document / speak up about them
• Work closely with team lead and product owner to help guide and achieve product vision

• Our team manages 12+ separate web applications using Agile/Scrum/XP methods. All have Angular as the frontend. The backend services are a mix of Python/AWS Lambda and Java/Spring.
• Various technologies are in play, and we are seeking to upgrade and optimize, as well as continuing to deliver new features and enhancements to all applications in our portfolio., * Proficiency in at least one of the following: Angular, Python, or Terraform + AWS services
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive criticism
• Excellent documentation skills, within code and without
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to ask questions when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pro with Git / GitHub / GitHub Actions
• Pro with Java/Spring
• Kafka, Data Fabric experience
• Bash scripting experience
• SAST code scanning tool experience

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

OR

5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in lieu of a degree
