Job description
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and enforcing secure cloud and infrastructure architectures. The Security Engineer partners closely with engineering and platform teams to assess risk, define secure patterns, and embed security controls through automation and policy-as-code. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate design proposals and assess security risks across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Define opinionated secure architecture patterns and provide implementation guidance.
- Develop and enforce security controls using policy-as-code, templates, and reusable modules.
- Validate cloud security controls and identify misconfigurations across deployments.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts for tools and solutions to strengthen security posture.
- Assess SaaS and third-party solutions and recommend secure integration approaches.
- Perform infrastructure-as-code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards.
Requirements

7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering (Network, Linux, or Windows).

3-5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, application, and infrastructure protocols.

Solid knowledge of security risks in cloud and on-prem environments.

Experience with network segregation, data protection, and infrastructure management. Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with a Cloud Service Provider; GCP preferred.

Understanding of cloud AI services and Agentic AI risk.

Knowledge of SaaS and software supply chain security risks.

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code frameworks.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.

Formal training or certifications in cloud, network, or cybersecurity domains. Competencies
