Job description
We're looking for a world-class product designer to take ownership of the user experience across
TrialView.
You'll work closely with the CEO, CTO, and Principal Product Manager to understand problems,
define solutions, and ship product that holds up in real use.
This role is hands-on and end-to-end. You'll be involved early, before solutions are defined, and stay
close through to what gets built and used.
You'll be designing for complex, high-stakes workflows - including navigating large document sets,
working with AI-generated outputs, and supporting users operating under real time pressure in live
cases.
What You'll Do
- Own all design work from initial problem framing through to final implementation
- Design workflows for document-heavy, high-complexity environments (search, navigation, evidence review)
- Design AI-assisted experiences (chat, retrieval results, citations, verification flows)
- Sketch, prototype, and test ideas at different fidelities (Figma or similar)
- Establish and evolve a design system that supports consistency and speed
- Work as part of a trio with PM and tech lead across the full lifecycle
- Work directly with customers to understand real-world workflows and constraints
- Translate complex requirements into clear, usable product experiences
- Contribute to product direction, not just design execution
Requirements
- 4-8 years designing and shipping digital products
- Strong ownership mindset - comfortable making decisions and moving forward with incomplete information
- Experience designing for complex workflows (ideally B2B or domain-heavy products)
- Strong product thinking - focused on outcomes, not just output
- Excellent design judgement and taste
- Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive user experiences
- Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints
- Strong interest in user research and real-world behaviour
Who Will Succeed in This Role
- Moves quickly and iterates without waiting for perfect inputs
- Enjoys working in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- Cares deeply about clarity and usability in complex systems
- Comfortable operating as the sole designer and setting direction
- Balances speed with quality - knows when to go deep vs ship
