Lead the architectural design and development of low-code solutions, specializing in Mendix, while ensuring alignment with the broader software architecture landscape.

Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for low-code implementation, and define integration requirements.

Design and implement robust and scalable software architectures, leveraging low-code platforms such as Mendix and integrating them seamlessly with existing systems and external APIs.

Serve as a technical advisor to project teams, providing guidance on low-code best practices, architectural patterns, and integration strategies.

- Drive innovation by exploring emerging low-code technologies, frameworks, and platforms, and evaluating their applicability within the software architecture landscape.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and infrastructure specialists, to deliver high-quality low-code solutions within project timelines and budget.

Act as a mentor and coach for developers, fostering their growth and knowledge in low-code development and software architecture.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Extensive experience (8+ years) in software architecture.

Proven track record of designing and implementing complex and scalable software architectures, incorporating low-code platforms and integrations with external systems.

Deep expertise in Mendix, including the ability to leverage its full potential for rapid application development and customization.

Strong understanding of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable architectural designs.

Solid knowledge of integration techniques and technologies, such as RESTful APIs, messaging queues, and event-driven architectures.

Experience with various integration approaches, including enterprise service bus (ESB), API gateways, and microservices architecture.

Proficient in working with diverse systems and technologies, and the ability to design and implement integrations between low-code platforms and legacy systems.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.

You are willing to schedule on-site days at the client's location as needed to ensure project success and enhance collaboration and efficiency within the team.

You are an excellent communicator, team player, and problem solver, with mandatory strong German language skills for effective day-to-day communication, as well as fluency in English (at least C1 level).
