Job description
- Support analytics projects across the Operations Tribe (Logistics, Assortment, Supply Chain) and Central BI by providing analytical insights and helping define project goals and deliverables.
- Work closely with data engineering and business teams to build scalable data solutions, contributing to data pipeline development using data modeling, SQL, and Python while following data governance standards.
- Build and maintain efficient data pipelines using tools such as Exasol, Airflow, and Databricks, primarily leveraging SQL.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards in Tableau and Apache Superset to support business decision-making.
- Help maintain and improve the company's central reporting landscape, ensuring consistency and reliability of KPIs.
- Contribute to data quality assurance processes for central data products and pipelines, supporting best practices in reporting.
- Support data excellence initiatives, including BI operations (BIOps), and help improve data literacy across the company through activities such as training and data cataloging.
Requirements
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst (all genders) to join our team and support data-driven decision-making across our Operations and Central BI teams. In this role, you'll work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, turning data into actionable insights and helping us continuously improve our data landscape. If you're curious, hands-on, and eager to grow your analytics skills, we'd love to hear from you., * Practical industry experience with SQL and Python, working on real datasets in a business or applied research setting (e.g., Internships, working student roles).
- Hands-on experience cleaning, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets - you know how to make data analysis ready for business use.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling in production or near-production environments.
- Experience building dashboards and reports (Tableau, Superset, Power BI, etc.) that tell a compelling story with data.
- Analytical mindset with understanding of statistics, A/B testing, and business metrics relevant to e-commerce operations.
- Strong ability to translate data insights into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn - you want to grow your analytical and technical skills with mentorship.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to document processes and findings clearly.
