Job description

We are supporting a well-established East Lancashire manufacturing business in the search for an SAP Administrator to support the effective running of SAP across purchasing and procurement activities.

This role will sit closely with the procurement and supply chain teams, ensuring SAP is accurately maintained, purchase orders flow correctly, and suppliers are set up and managed efficiently within the system., * Provide day-to-day SAP support for purchasing and procurement teams

  • Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders within SAP
  • Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of supplier and material master data
  • Support the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process within SAP
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices
  • Monitor data accuracy and resolve discrepancies across purchasing transactions
  • Work closely with buyers and supply chain teams to improve system processes
  • Assist with reporting and data extraction for procurement analysis
  • Assist with SAP rollout across wider business functions, supporting new users and processes
  • Deliver user guidance, basic training, and documentation to support SAP adoption
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement as SAP is embedded

Requirements

  • Experience supporting SAP within a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain function
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management)
  • Understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes
  • Experience managing purchase orders, suppliers, and master data
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Confident working with stakeholders across procurement and operations
