Job description
- Perform security assessments of AWS environments
- Evaluate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for compliance
- Implement AWS-native security controls and best practices
- Monitor cloud security posture and remediate risks
- Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- Develop security standards, playbooks, and documentation
- Provide security advisory support to engineering teams
- Conduct training and awareness sessions
- Automate security checks and processes
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on AWS security experience
- Strong knowledge of: IAM, Cloud Security Architecture, DevSecOps, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
- Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Strong understanding of: NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, OMB M-22-09
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
