Job description

Clinical Care & Case Management

  • Maintain an individual caseload of adolescent and adult clients under supervision
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
  • Provide ongoing case management, including discharge planning and care coordination
  • Monitor client progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Facilitate family and/or collateral sessions as clinically indicated

Group Therapy & Programming

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring safety, engagement, and adherence to curriculum
  • Maintain the integrity of the therapeutic milieu while supporting diverse client needs

Crisis Intervention & Risk Management

  • Provide crisis support to clients in distress, including therapeutic check-ins
  • Collaborate with supervisors and the treatment team on high-risk cases
  • Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and follow established safety protocols

Supervision, Compliance & Ethics

  • Attend and actively participate in required clinical supervision with a licensed clinician
  • Adhere to all California BBS regulations and CAMFT legal and ethical standards
  • Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws, confidentiality, and professional boundaries

Team Collaboration & Program Support

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case presentations
  • Collaborate with clinicians, psychiatry, and program staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Assist with group coverage and provide support across programs as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Requirements

This position is ideal for clinicians who are motivated, adaptable, and committed to providing ethical, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care while working toward independent licensure., * Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field

  • Active AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration in California and in good standing
  • Legally authorized to practice under supervision in California
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, residential, or inpatient) preferred, * Experience facilitating group therapy
  • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities (e.g., DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care)
  • Experience working in IOP, PHP, or other higher levels of care
